résumé anglais
This issue focuses on African Canadian women, their stories and personal narratives of memory, ancestry, their journey through slavery and their rich heritage. The issue of belonging, sexual orientation and gender issues are explored in this issue. Wormen's work is also discussed from the perspective of transnationality and their work in specific professions like nursing. Black Canadian feminist thought - the tensions and possibilities are discussed.
