Social and Historical Context of Racism in Canada was presented by Professor Darren Lund when the UN Special Rapporteur during the Canada-wide consultation. Dr. Lund focused his presentation on research undertaken in a school-based anti-racist activist environment. A considerable amount of anti-racism work was done through the national high school diversity program Students and Teachers Opposing Prejudice (STOP). This report takes into account Government policies, provincial policies and educational policies.
