Ensuring a secure sense of identity and belonging for all Canadians requires a spirit of partnership across every sphere of our society. Encouraging the inclusion and participation of everyone in our country requires the active effort of the private, public and voluntary sectors. Achieving greater social justice is a goal that can only be reached through listening to one another and acting in harmony. (Hedy Fry, Introduction)
