This guide aims to assist Ontario educators in creating a learning environment consisting of anti-racist and ethnocultural equity education. In this document three main issues are addressed 1) the fundamental principles of anti-racist and ethnocultural-equity education, 2) how anti-racist and ethnocultural-equity education operates in the classroom, and 3) how teachers should respond to misconceptions about anti-racist and ethnocultural-equity education. These three areas are intended to give teachers a practical guide to the understanding and implementation of anti-racism education.
