Abstract English
Within this book are proposals for changes in Canadian government and UN policies and agendas prepared by the Canadian Committee for the Fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations, during June 1994. Among those suggested for reform are agendas regarding peace, human rights, economic and social developments and the UN Security Council. It points out the areas within the system that need improvement and outlines possible solutions to reform them.
