This two-part kit includes a book and a readings kit.The book outlines a ten session course in anti-racist education and organizing. The course uses the reader, group activities and audiovisuals as accompaniment. The course can be used as a whole or can be broken down for individual meetings or employee training sessions. The main topics for the ten sessions include an overview of racism and racist attitudes in the workplace; Canadian Immigration History and Misconceptions About Immigrants; Legislation Against Discrimination; Union Practices to Resist Racism; and Planning For Action. The readings kit parallels the designated ten course sessions aimed at teaching anti-racist education and organizing.
