CRRF’s Executive Director, Dr. Ayman Al-Yassini, highlighted the importance of this initiative to the promotion of an inclusive Canada. He added that all communities have the primary responsibility of fighting racism and discrimination and the promotion of human rights, freedom of speech, equality of sexes and respect of each other. Madeline Ziniak, National Vice President of Rogers OMNI Television, noted that the impact of making key anti-racism messages available to multilingual audiences is an important step towards building an inclusive and accepting Canadian society. The CRRF appreciates the support of Rogers OMNI Television in funding these announcements. Gail Picco, executive producer, expressed her appreciation of the opportunity to produce these PSAs.
