The CRRF offers its course ‘Foundations in Equity and Anti-Racism: Towards an Inclusive School Practice’, to Faculty of Education students experiencing the effects of the strike at York University, in Ontario.

This six session course will support future educators by deepening their awareness and understanding of the implications of diversity, equity and racism in schools today. The course will provide practical strategies and resources for the school and the classroom, with an emphasis on turning theory into practice. This course has been delivered to teachers currently in service at both the Hamilton and Toronto school boards. A certificate of completion will be awarded to all participants.

Dates:

  • December 9, 11, 16 from 10am-4pm 
  • December 18, 2008, from 10am - 12:00 noon.

Location:

  • CRRF office 4576 Yonge Street, Suite 701, Willowdale, Ontario.
