The six-session program is  designed to have educators and those working for educational  institutions explore Equity and Inclusion practices.  There is a strong focus on critical race theory and its application  within teaching as well as intersectionalilty which examines the complex  identities of Canada&amp;#39;s diverse student population.</description>

The Paul Yuzyk Award for  Multiculturalism is an initiative that recognizes individuals who have  made exceptional contributions to multiculturalism and to the  integration of newcomers in Canada.   Nominations are now being accepted from the public. To be considered  for the 2012 award, nominations must be postmarked by March 1, 2012.</description>

This year&amp;rsquo;s theme, Children and the Holocaust, is in remembrance of the 1.5 million innocent Jewish children and the tens of thousands of other youths who died during the Holocaust.</description>
