THIS VIDEO IS UNIQUE: It is an educational tool and as such benefits women’s programmes dedicated to redressing inequalities. The video offers precedents of immigrant women’s courage and commitment to surmount the obstacles of immigration and adaptation. The women in this video are not actors but immigrant women in Canada.Their stories are real, not fabricated, not told by a third party. The women tell Canadians of their strategies for overcoming ethnic stereotyping, wretched job conditions and their determination to give their children better lives.

To purchase the DVD: $20   With a teacher's guide: $25
