Le magicien de Kaboul a appris la magie pour allumer le regard des enfants afghans et ceux des États-Unis. En mémoire de son fils, mort le 11 septembre 2001, à New York, il rêve de construire une école primaire à Kaboul pour jeter un pont, par-delà la mort, avec ce fils dont il se sentait si loin.

Le film sera suivi d’une rencontre avec un invité.
