The Canadian Race Relations Foundation Act was given Royal Assent on February 1, 1991. The Act was proclaimed by the Federal Government on October 28, 1996. TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is deeply concerned about the increase in racial incidents in the National Capital Region. The most recent incident took place early Friday when staff at the Outaouais Islamic Centre in Gatineau discovered spray-painted obscene references to Islam and Arabs on the outside walls and doors of the mosque.

Toronto, December 21, 2011. The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Durham District School Board to deliver a diversity training program to its educators. The six-session program is designed to have educators and those working for educational institutions explore Equity and Inclusion practices. There is a strong focus on critical race theory and its application within teaching as well as intersectionalilty which examines the complex identities of Canada's diverse student population.
